After a successful complete carve-out at the end of June, also all carve-in activities of the STS Merge & Acquisition project have been completed. After some strategic IT decisions, changes, license transfers and buy, migrations and new implementations, this interesting project came to an end. UMa Soft and 3Txpert are involved in further improvement activities.
As Senior Carve-Out/-In Consultant, Jasper Bhaumick came to the following conclusion:
„Merge and Acquisition projects are always very interesting and challenging for all participants. No matter if you work for the giving or the receiving party, a skillset from contracts through licenses to complex IT environments is required. The earlier the necessary skills are involved, the better for the later transition phase. In any case, the teambuilding takes some time, especially if the parties have at least partially different interests.“
